Resize Comment Images
February 16, 2007
Hate those huge size comment pictures that messing up your MySpace profile?
Yes! I hate them too.
Wait wait, don’t delete them, well, we can just resize them all by using this code.
Screenshots:
- before: (page is horizontally extended)
- after: (image is resized, fit in the comment table)

Instructions:
- Copy and paste the code into About Me section
- Save your editing and preview. Done. =)

td.text td.text table table table td a img {width:100px;}
td.text td.text table table table td div img {width:80px;}
td.text td.text table table td img {width:260px; max-width:260px; width:auto;}
td.text td.text table table td div img {width:80px;}
* html td.text td.text table table td img {width:260px;}
* html td.text td.text table table td a img {width:90px;}

change the width value of the first (*html) universal selector to {width:auto;}
the code works in IE now.
td.text td.text table table table td a img {width:90px;}
td.text td.text table table table td div img {width:80px;}
td.text td.text table table td img {width:420px; max-width:420px; width:auto;}
td.text td.text table table td div img {width:80px;}
* html td.text td.text table table td img {width:420px;}
* html td.text td.text table table td a img {width:auto;}
* html td.text td.text table table td div img {width:80px;}
(also, change the width value of the first line to 90px instead of 100px, which keeps the “friends images” from pixelating on firefox)

The first code works for me, but it makes both pics (friend pic and comment pic the same size) 90pix wide.
the second one doesn’t seem to work at all. it is the same as if i didn’t put any code in it at all.
Is there a way to keep the friend image at 90px wide and the comment pic at 300pix wide.
Thanks for your help!!!
